How do I become a vendor?
If you would like to become a vendor, please fill out our Vendor Application Form. Your request will be sent to the Board, and you will be contacted if your application has been approved and space is available. Space is limited, so it is advised that new vendors apply prior to April 1st to be considered in the first round of applications.
Is the food local?

Since our inception in 1996, we have been a proud producers only market that prioritizes locally grown foods and support for local food producers. Our vendors take great pride in bringing the freshest, tastiest locally produced products to our customers.
For more specifics on these regulations see our Rules & Regulations under the For Vendors tab.

Where can I park?
There are many municipal parking spaces available around the market. Customers can park close by in the south end of the Louis Street Lot, along Louis Street or in the King Street Parking garage. Given the convenient location of the market downtown, many customers also choose to walk, bike or take public transit.

The market is wheelchair accessible. We are located in a parking lot in Downtown Peterborough; the site is paved and at ground level – there are no stairs.  Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome.  There is also a wheelchair accessible portable toilet on-site.

How do I set up as a community group?
We offer free space to community groups looking to promote the work that they do. Please contact us to arrange a time when space is available.
Can I busk at the Downtown Farmers’ Market?
We have a variety of buskers who perform at the market. We have an acoustic only policy, and space is allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to ask buskers to limit their time to allow others to busk, or leave if their performance is disruptive to the flow of market.
Can I spend Nourish dollars at the market?

Yes, we have a partnership with Nourish and all of our vendors accept Nourish dollars. Available for purchase at market or via YWCA Peterborough.
